As expected, after Nokia 8 and Nokia 5, HMD Global has started the Android 8.0 Oreo beta testing phase for the Nokia 6 smartphone. The announcement was given by Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global on its Twitter profile.

To participate in the Nokia 6 Android Oreo beta testing program, you need to enter your device data on the Nokia Phones Beta Labs site. Once approved, you will receive the firmware update via OTA.
Nokia 6 Android Oreo update certainly brings a list of features that Google has provided on core Android 8.0 Oreo. For instance, Background limits, Picture-in-Picture (PIP), notification channels, Wide-gamut color for apps, Adaptive icons, Companion device pairing, Keyboard navigation, Audio API for Pro Audio and more.
