The Taiwanese company Acer launches a new cheap gaming monitor Nitro XFA243Y (Sbiipr), which is already listed online without any availability details. The Acer XFA243Y 165Hz monitor has a VA panel with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and achieves a refresh rate of up to 165Hz.
Very few details are available about this new Acer Nitro monitor, it has a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a response time of 1 ms, brightness is 250cd/m2, viewing angles are 178°(H) 178°(V) (CR=10) and 16.7M display colors. The Acer gaming monitor is also equipped with two internal 2-watt speakers and FreeSync Premium as an anti-tearing measure.
Although the manufacturer advertises the Acer XFA243Y with HDR10 support, the brightness values should not ensure a convincing result.
