The Acer Predator X27U gaming monitor, released in 2023, is now getting an official successor. This time, the new Acer X27U X1 once again utilizes QD-OLED technology. Additionally, it features a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD) with a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz.
10-bit color depth, 99 percent DCI-P3 , 250 cd/m² typical brightness, and 1000 cd/m² peak brightness also sound familiar. The grayscale transition is expected to be 0.03 ms, and the contrast ratio will be 1,500,000:1.
The new Acer X27U X1 26.5-inch monitor also features FreeSync Premium Pro, G-Sync compatibility, and DisplayHDR True Black 400, offering more than its predecessor. The range of interfaces continues with two HDMI 2.1 inputs (instead of HDMI 2.0), a DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone output. Two internal 5-watt speakers provide optional sound.
The monitor offers tilt, swivel, and 120 mm height adjustment for ergonomics, but it does not mention pivot. The OSD provides access to features like picture-in-picture, picture-by-picture modes, and a black stabilizer.
