The Acer Swift 14 AI, the manufacturer’s first PC Copilot powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite, boasts a 14.5-inch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It also features a QHD webcam, a 75Wh battery, and a wide range of connectivity options, making it a notable choice among budget 120Hz laptops.
Acer Swift 14 AI, standing 15.9 millimeters tall and weighing 1.68 kilograms, isn’t the most compact notebook on the market today. The device has far more ports than most Snapdragon laptops, as in addition to two USB-C ports, there are two USB-A ports and HDMI 1.4.
The slightly thicker casing accommodates a large 75 Wh battery, which is expected to provide up to 12 hours of use. However, Acer has not specified the conditions under which this battery life was measured. Notable features include illuminated symbols on the trackpad and a display lid that activates when using Microsoft Copilot.
Acer combines the ARM chip with 16 GB LPDDR5x-8,533 RAM, a PCIe 4 SSD offering up to 1 TB capacity, and a 14.5-inch IPS panel in a 16:10 format. Consequently, this setup delivers a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, a frame rate of 120 Hz, and full sRGB color space coverage. Moreover, the laptop includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 as standard features. Additionally, it comes equipped with a 1,440p webcam that has a privacy cover, as well as an infrared camera for Windows login via facial recognition.
