Acer Predator 21x is Curved Screen Gaming Laptop with 2 GTX 1080 GPU: IFA 2016

Acer has launched a new gaming laptop with a very strange named Predator 21x and its cost could upwards $5000. The Acer Predator 21x comes with a 21 inch curved screen, quite unique in the world of laptops today.

This new Acer gaming laptop also integrated “Tobii infrared eye-tracking sensors” to the display, which opens up different user experiences in games that support the appropriate tech. There is also a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX switches with five programmable buttons. While the numeric keypad does not feature any mechanical switches, but user can flip and turned into a touch-pad.

Of course, as a gaming laptop the device configurations should be high-end: Predator 21x is powered by Intel’s 7th Generation Kaby Lake processors (does not reveal CPU models or specifications), two NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards in SLI, up to 64GB of RAM, and to attract gamers, it comes with four integrated speakers and two built-in subwoofers.

The uniqueness of the Predator 21x comes with up to five cooling fans and three of them are super-slim metal AeroBlade fans that can push lots of hot air out of a tightly packed chassis. This is the industry-first 21-inch IPS LCD curved screen laptop with (2560×1080 pixels) resolution and also packs in Nvidia G-Sync technology. And because it uses curved screen, so when you fold it, there would be a small gap between screen and keyboard.

On the connectivity front, the Acer gaming laptop bears 1 x GbE port, 2T2R 802.11ac + Bluetooth Wi-Fi module with 2 x physical antennae on the rear side, 2 x USB Type-A ports, 1 x USB Type-C receptacle, audio in/out, 1 x Display port and 1 x HDMI outputs. Of course the official price yet to unveiled but this is one of the high end gaming laptops.
