With the Nitro 14 (AN14-41), Acer enters the growing market for compact 14-inch gaming laptops. Moreover, it offers an attractive package that includes a 14.5-inch 120Hz screen and a flagship AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS AI-capable processor, as well as Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPUs.

The traditionally inexpensive Acer Nitro series is getting a new 14-inch model with an unusual format. Acer has opted for a 14.5-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which offers significantly more space than many direct competitors, especially in height, making the device more convenient for working on the go.
The new Acer Nitro 14 (AN14-41) laptop with 120 refresh rate, a 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution, and fully covers the sRGB color space. The top model uses an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS with eight performance cores (16 threads) based on the Zen 4 architecture and clock rates of up to 5.1 GHz, as well as an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPU with 8 GB of GDDR6 graphics memory. Acer does not mention the TGP of the Nvidia GPU in the press release.

Acer installs two fans in the compact housing and equips the CPU with a liquid metal thermal interface to keep the components cool even under continuous load. The Acer Nitro 14 gaming laptop has two USB-C ports, with one supporting USB 4 and data rates of up to 40 Gbit/s. It also includes two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 interface, and a microSD card reader. The laptop features stereo speakers, three microphones, a keyboard with four-zone RGB lighting, and an Experience Zone app that manages AI functions.

The Acer Nitro 14 (AN14-41) is priced at $1,299.99 on Amazon.com. However, on Newegg.com, the same model with an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, GeForce RTX 4060, 16GB LPDDR5X, and 512GB SSD costs $1,475.90.
