Almost a year ago, Acer introduced the ConceptD CM2241W monitor for computer, a relatively inexpensive IPS display monitor that, thanks to its high color fidelity, should also be suitable for professional users. After the long wait, the screen is finally available to pre-order via the Bhphoto store.
The Acer ConceptD CM2241W was presented in September 2019, at the CES in January, Acer once again confirmed that the monitor should come onto the market towards the end of the first quarter of 2020. Over half of the second quarter has already passed, one can say that Acer missed this date. The launch actually seems to be imminent, as Acer has confirmed in a press release in the USA that the monitor is finally actually available here.
The ConceptD CM2241W is a 24-inch IPS monitor in 16:10 format. The resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels is not particularly high, but the monitor is said to impress primarily with the color fidelity of the Pantone-certified panel. The manufacturer states that the ConceptD screen can display 99 percent of the Adobe RGB color space, the deviations should be in the range of Delta E <2.
The IPS panel should also convince with a frame rate of 75 Hz and the viewing angles typical for this panel type. The brightness is only average at 350 nits. The ergonomic stand allows an inclination of -5 ° to 35 ° and a height adjustment of up to twelve centimeters. A VESA wall mount can also be used. Two HDMI 1.4 connections and a DisplayPort are available for connection to a computer, and an integrated USB hub offers three plugs (USB-A 3.0).
The recommended retail price of the Acer ConceptD CM2241 monitor for computer is now available to pre-order via the Bhphotovideo.com store for $399.99.
Acer recently has also introduced two Nitro XZ2 series of adaptive sync best monitors for gaming. The series includes Acer Nitro XZ272 and Nitro XZ322Q curved gaming monitors.
