Acer Aspire 7 AMD Ryzen Laptops With dedicated GPUs at a Fair Price

Acer at CES 2021 presented two new AMD Ryzen laptops from the Aspire series that offer a stylish design, AMD Ryzen 5000, and dedicated graphics chips at a fair price, which are now available buy in the US. The two AMD Ryzen laptops are aimed specifically at ambitious bloggers, amateur photographers, and students who value the best possible price-performance ratio.

Acer Aspire 7 A715-42G-R2M7

The Acer Aspire 7 A715-42G-R2M7 is a mid-range multimedia notebook that should offer decent performance thanks to the AMD Ryzen 5500U Hexa-core processor. It has a base clock speed of 2.1Ghz and a max boost clock of 4.0Ghz. This is a 7nm chipset launched in Jan 2021 and supports 12 threads.

For graphics, Acer has equipped this model with a 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics GPU. It ships with Windows 10 Home operating system. It comes with 8GB of ram and has 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The display on this model is a 15.6 inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) screen with Acer ComfiewView Matte panel. The approximately 18-millimeter thin notebook offers Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.1. and USB-C.

For the Aspire 7 A715-42G-R20C, Acer uses a 15.6-inch 1080p display with very narrow bezels, so that the screen-to-body ratio is at least 81 percent. For optimal performance, the notebook combines an AMD Ryzen 5000 processor with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650.

This new AMD Ryzen 7 laptop is also a mid-range device powered by the new AMD Ryzen 7 5700U octa-core processor. It has a base clock speed of 1.8Ghz and a max boost clock of 4.3Ghz. For graphics, Acer has equipped this model with a 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics GPU. It ships with Windows 10 Home operating system.

It comes with 16GB of ram and has 512GB SSD storage. The display on this model is a 15.6 inch Full HD screen with Acer Color Intelligence and Acer ExaColor features. This model supports Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and has Bluetooth 5.1.

The Acer Aspire 7 A715-42G-R20C is expected to be available soon from Amazon.com for a recommended retail price of $919.99.
