The 7Artisans has expanded the list of mounts for its ultra-fast 7Artisans 35mm F0.95 lens. This fully manual lens for APS-C-sized cameras is now available for the Canon RF mount.
The optical design of the new Canon RF lens consists of 11 elements combined in 8 groups, including two lenses made of low-dispersion glass. In addition, there is a multi-layer anti-reflective coating to increase light transmission and suppress glare and ghosting.
The diaphragm consists of 12 petals and allows you to adjust the relative aperture in the range from F0.95 to F16. All aperture settings are made manually using a ring on the lens. Switching between values occurs without clicks.
The minimum focusing distance is 37cm, and the maximum magnification is 0.12x. Focus adjustment is also carried out manually, using the ring on the lens. The design of the body and bayonet is made of metal, there is a thread for installing light filters with a diameter of 52 mm. Weight and dimensions are as follows: the lens weighs about 369 grams, dimensions are 62×63 mm.
