The 7Artisans has introduced a Photoelectric 35mm f/1.2 fast manual lens for cameras with APS-C format sensors and Canon EF-M, Sony E, Fujifilm X, and MFT mounts in Silver.
There are no differences in term of specifications from the Black variant was announced back in October 2018.
In the design of the lens, there are 6 elements in 5 groups and 9 diaphragm blades. The minimum focusing distance is 0.35 m, the filter thread diameter is 43 mm.
The silver, Micro Four Thirds, Canon EF-M, Fujifilm X, and Sony E mount lenses from 7artisans is a versatile prime well-suited for every day, available light photography. Its slim and lightweight design mixes well with the fast f/1.2 maximum aperture to suit working in low-light conditions and also offers increased control over depth of field for working with selective focus techniques.
The optical design is also complemented by a multi-layer coating, which serves to minimize surface reflections, flare, and ghosting in order to produce greater contrast and color accuracy in various lighting conditions. Additionally, the lens has a manual focus design that permits working with subjects as close as 1.1′ away and its rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.
