The 7Artisans Photoelectric Technology has announced the release of a new full-frame wide-angle manual lens 7Artisans 15mm F4. This lens is designed for cameras with Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon RF, and L-mount mounts.

The lens has a viewing angle of 114 °, which is suitable for shooting landscapes, starry skies, architecture, and interiors, as well as for use in video blogging.
The manufacturer promises almost zero distortion and an equally sharp picture across the entire field of the frame.
The 7Artisans 15mm F4 is equipped with a manual focus and aperture mechanism and is designed to cover full-frame sensors.
The optical design uses 13 elements in 9 groups, including two aspherical lenses, three ED lenses, and five high refractive indexes (HR) glass lenses. Multi-layered AR coating helps increase light transmission and reduce flare and ghosting.
The lens has a 10-blade aperture mechanism that allows you to change the relative aperture from F4 to F22, and the minimum focusing distance is 0.4 m. The aperture and focus are adjusted manually using the corresponding rings located on the lens barrel. Switching the aperture ring occurs with clicks.
The body and lens mount is made of metal. There is a thread for installing filters with a diameter of 77 mm. The weight of the lens is 536 grams, and its dimensions are not specified.
Price and availability
The lens is already available for order on the Bhphotovideo.com website for $359.
