MSI Pro MP271CW monitor with thin bezel, reduced eye strain, and professional features

MSI targets professionals with the PRO MP271CW 75 Hz curved monitor. This MSI curved monitor has a 27-inch FHD display with a 4000:1 contrast ratio and is TÜV Rheinland certified.

MSI Pro MP271CW 75 Hz curved monitor

MSI has unveiled a new 75Hz monitor is PRO MP271CW. MSI markets it, as the name suggests, to professionals, but it will also be suitable for home use. Specifically, it is TÜV Rheinland certified, which MSI hopes will appeal to people who spend a lot of time staring at a computer screen each day.

But nothing necessarily distinguishes the PRO MP271CW from its competitors. For one thing, the new 75 Hz curved monitor has a 1980 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 250 nits brightness, and curved screen panel. In our opinion, it has a sleek design, but only because of its stand. Thanks to their slim vertical bezels, they should be suitable for use in a multi-monitor setup, while the ability to rotate the monitor 90° should come in handy.

The PRO MP271CW is also equipped with a tiltable stand. However, we are struggling to understand what makes them so “PRO”. Although it has anti-flickering and anti-glare and emits less blue light, many monitors already do this without being marketed as professional products. However, the monitor is neither bright nor endowed with exceptional chromatic precision. Likewise, the panel has a slow response time and is only 75Hz.
