70-inch Mi TV 3 with 4K Display Launched in China

Xiaomi has launched its newest 4K Televison named Xiaomi Mi TV 3 70 inch variant in China. Its a latest 70-inch TV has been priced at CNY 9,999 – approximately $1539 USD. Xiaomi has 60-inch model in Mi TV 3 series was launched back in October, priced at CNY 4,999 – approximately $769 USD.

Mi TV 3 70 inch features slim edges 12.9mm thin and up to 38.6mm thickness, metal frame body with a stylish finishing and metal back panel truly makes it very attractive. Even more stunning are the visuals, 4K display uses 3840×2160 pixels which is four times sharper than HD along with 178-degree wide viewing angle. Based on the proprietary 85 percent NTSC technology to give better colours and a higher contrast ratio with much deeper blacks, it boasts 120Hz refresh rate and also facilitates MEMC motion compensation.

The 70-inch Mi TV 3 is fueled by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor based on MStar 6A928 (Cortex-A17) chipset. It packs a Mali-760 MP4 GPU; 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. It also features 2.5-inch full-range stereo speakers with Dolby DTS Virtual Surround Sound and Bass Boost. Xiaomi TV 3 will supports various video formats such as HEVC, HDMI 2.0, MHL 3.0 and HDCP 2.2 and H.265 4K at 60 or 30fps. On connectivity front, include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, 3x HDMI 2.0, Micro-USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and Ethernet port.
