The Asus ROG Strix XG32UQ is characterized above all by its IPS panel with a diagonal of 32 inches, a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, and a refresh rate of 160 Hz. To be able to use the full frame rate at 4K resolution, the HDMI 2.1 monitor must be connected via DisplayPort 1.4; the screen can only be operated at 144 Hz via the two HDMI 2.1 connections.

Support for HDMI VRR and ALLM promises perfect compatibility with Xbox Series X and Sony PlayStation 5. The 32 inch gaming monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync to avoid tearing. The Asus ROG monitor offers a full-surface brightness of 450 nits in SDR mode, and a peak brightness of 600 nits is achieved when displaying HDR content. The 32 inch 4k monitor can display 96 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and 130% sRGB color space.

The Asus gaming monitor has an integrated USB-A hub with two ports and a headphone jack. A special feature is the tripod thread at the upper end of the base. That makes it possible to attach a camera or a lamp above the monitor – perfect for streamers. The stand is height-adjustable, and the monitor can be tilted and swiveled.
