Concerning the response time, there is only an MPRT specification (“Moving Picture Response Time”) of 1 ms, which says nothing about the important gray-to-gray change. According to the datasheet, 99 percent sRGB, 91 percent DCI-P3, and a Delta-E value of less than 2 are offered. Two internal 5-watt speakers are also part of the ultra wide curved monitor. FreeSync is available against tearing in games, although, like the predecessor mentioned above, it is probably the Premium Pro version. As an alternative to this, a mode against the blurring of moving images can be activated.

On the interface side, the new curved gaming monitor includes three HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.2 hub, a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 65-watt power delivery can be used. KVM switch functionality, as well as switchable picture-by-picture modes, are also there. The ergonomic features mentioned are rotation, inclination, height adjustment, VESA recording (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free background lighting.

The AOC AG493UCX2 DQHD monitor weighs 10.9 kg without the stand, measures 1194.4 x 369.4 x 153.2 mm (W x H x D), and has a typical power requirement of 68 watts.
