Mitakon Zhongyi 35mm T1 Speedmaster Cine Lens for Canon RF, Sony E, Fuji X, and MFT

Mitakon Zhyongyi has released a new 35mm T1 Speedmaster Cine super aperture video lens for Canon RF, Sony E, Fujifilm X, and Micro Fout Third mounts. This T1 lens with Super35 size sensors enables low-light performance and pleasing bokeh with a 9-blade aperture.

The design features 11 elements in 8 groups, internal focusing, and the rugged body has standard (0.8 mod) gear focus rings with 161 ° rotation angle and 64 ° aperture for step-less control.

A unified front diameter and gear position of the lens makes the work with focus motor and matte box much easier. Operators are thereby free from frequent re-adjustment of the settings. The seamless lens gear and long focus throw with precise scale markings allow accurate control of focus point even with extremely shallow depth of field at T1.0.

The Mitakon Zhongyi 35mm T1 Speedmaster Cine lens is designed to suppress the focus breathing to the minimum, allowing focus pull without compositions changed. The ultra-fast T1 aperture also facilitates shooting at low-light conditions. It has a 77mm filter thread, is 92mm long, and weighs 615g.

Price and availability

The new lens is already available for pre-order via Adorama.com and Bhphotovideo.com online e-shops at $599 for Canon RF, Sony E, Fujifilm X, and $449 for the Micro Fout Third mount.
