With the EI322QURP, Acer has released a new best 32 inch monitor that is primarily aimed at gamers with its key data. The 32 curved monitor has a VA panel with WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), a maximum of 165 Hz refresh rate, DisplayHDR-400 certification, and 1500-R curvature.
The curved screen has a contrast ratio of 3000: 1, the color depth is 8 bits, the maximum brightness is 400 cd/m², and the DCI-P3 coverage is 93 percent. Official data sheets are silent about the gray-to-gray change, but an MPRT (“Moving Picture Response Time”) of 1 ms is given.
The curved gaming monitor has two internal 2-watt loudspeakers that can be used as sound generators if required. FreeSync Premium Pro is used as anti-tearing technology, which consequently masters LFC (“Low Framerate Compensation”) and can deal with HDR content. On the connection side, two DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 inputs as well as a headphone output can be used.
Picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes can be switched on via OSD. A black stabilizer is also not missing and can lighten dark areas in games. Ergonomic features are inclination, VESA recording (75 x 75 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-reduced background lighting. According to the energy label, the power requirement is 37 watts in SDR and 43 watts in HDR mode.
