With the XV272U KF, Acer has introduced the new 300Hz monitor for gaming that makes gamers’ hearts beat faster with 300 Hz and 1 ms response time.
The Taiwanese manufacturer has unveiled its new Acer Nitro XV272U KF best 1440p monitor for gaming.
It measures 27 inches and relies on an IPS panel. The resolution is WQHD, i.e. 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The refresh rate of an impressive 300 Hz is particularly interesting for gamers. That makes the new Acer 300Hz monitor one of the fastest gaming monitors on the market.
The 300 Hz is quite an unusual number for gaming monitors. So far, these are more familiar with gaming notebooks. For PC monitors, 260 or 280 Hz are more common.
The response time, which Acer puts at 1 ms without further information, is also relevant for gamers. It is probably the grey-to-grey value. The new Acer Nitro monitor covers 90 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. Acer also mentions a DeltaE value of less than 1 and a DisplayHDR 600 certification as additional features.
FreeSync Premium is also on board, but without HDR support. Due to an EyeSafe certification, a blue light filter should also be part of the Acer XV272U KF’s equipment.
