AOC Agon Pro AG274QS FreeSync premium monitor with WQHD and 300Hz

With the Agon Pro AG274QS, AOC lists a new gaming monitor that has a 27-inch IPS panel and promises a refresh rate of up to 300 Hz. Strong hardware is required to serve such a high frame rate range. It is not uncommon for it to still be necessary to reduce graphic details in complex games. Especially, when you consider that the 300 Hz monitor is equipped with WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).

AOC Agon Pro AG274QS 300 Hz monitor

The new AOC gaming monitor has an IPS panel with a 1000:1 contrast, 350 cd/m² typical brightness, 1 ms fast gray change, and 8-bit color depth. It is also advertised as 100 percent sRGB, 90 percent DCI-P3, and a Delta-E value of less than 2.

The range of interfaces on the 27 inch monitor includes two DisplayPorts 1.4 with DSC (WQHD at max. 300 Hz), two HDMI 2.0 inputs (WQHD at max. 144 Hz ), and a USB 3.2 hub, a headphone output, and a microphone input.

Two internal 5-watt speakers with DTS have been thought of, as well as Light FX and FreeSync Premium. As an alternative to the anti-tearing measure, a mode against the blurring of moving images is available.

On the ergonomic side, with rotation, tilt, height adjustment, pivot, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free background lighting, nothing is left to be desired.
