MSI launches Optix G2722 gaming monitor with 170Hz, 1ms

MSI has announced the Optix G2722 27-inch gaming monitor, which has a flat IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD format). The MSI gaming monitor has a refresh rate of 170Hz and an MPRT response time of 1ms.

The new MSI G2722 27-inch gaming monitor has a brightness of 250 cd/m2, a contrast ratio is 1100:1, and a dynamic contrast ratio is 100,000,000:1.

Viewing angles horizontally and vertically reach 178 degrees. It provides a reproduction of 16.7 million colors. The Adobe RGB color space is 85.67%, the DCI-P3 color space is 81.1%, and the sRGB color space is 101.91%.

The 170Hz gaming monitor also has FreeSync Premium technology, which eliminates the effect of tearing the frame, and helps to increase the smoothness of the gameplay. The Night Vision system allows you to better see enemies lurking in the dark. Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light help reduce eye strain during extended gaming sessions.

The 170Hz monitor is equipped with two HDMI 1.4b, a DisplayPort 1.2a, and a standard audio jack. The stand allows only the angle of the screen to be adjusted. It can be wall mounted with a VESA mount.
