After the announcement of the Sony Extra Bass wireless speakers, the company has announced the sales of new headphones in the same series. At CES 2017, Sony has introduced four new Extra Bass series wireless headphones including Sony XB950N1 with active noise-canceling, Sony XB950B1 Bluetooth headphones with bass enhancement, Sony XB550AP with foldable design; and Sony XB510AS Bluetooth Wireless Sports Headphones for your smartphones. All Sony Extra Bass headphones support proprietary Extra Bass technology to enhance the bass and volume.
Sony XB950N1 became the first headphones from the company with active noise canceling technology in the line of Sony Extra Bass headphones. Automatic tuning noise reduction is performed depending on the type of ambient noise, adapts to your environment so you can hear more of the detail in every track.
Sony XB950N1 price in US $248 and £240 in UK, and is available in Green and Black color options. While the Sony XB950B1 has been priced at $198 in US and £190 in UK, and it will be available in Blue, Red and Black color options.
Both Sony XB950N1 and XB950B1 comes equipped with 40 mm drivers, providing rich bass with low distortion thanks to a specially developed membrane and high-quality neodymium magnet. Acoustic openings in the housing contribute to the proper motion of the membrane for the most accurate bass reproduction. Built-in electronic amplifier helps to feel the high bass. Both Sony Extra Bass Bluetooth headphones support streaming of audio over Bluetooth and also equipped with NFC for synchronizing with your smartphone by one touch. Built-in battery in the Sony XB950N1 claimed to provide up to 22 hours of music playback, and Sony XB950B1 up to 18 hours.
Sony XB950N1 and XB950B1 Headphones also have a built-in microphone, so they can be used to make and receive voice calls without using hands. After connecting with your smartphone headphone can able to take an incoming call by pressing one special button on the Sony Extra Bass headphones. To end a call, press the same button again. In this case, the music will automatically continue playing when the call ends.
The Sony XB550AP Headphones designed for mobile music lovers. They are distinguished by an easy folding design weighing 180 grams and adjustable metal headband. With built-in mic. you can also answer an incoming call or you can switch the track with just one tap.
