A new budget smartphone from Zuk Lenovo was spotted on GFXBench named ZUK R1, has been rumored on the web, it is said to be a lower variant of the ZUK Z1 Phone was launched last year.
Let’s check out the rumored specifications of the ZUK R1, the handset will feature a smaller 4.7-inch IPS display with (1280 x 720 pixels) HD resolution. It will be powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755BM) processor along with Mali-T860 GPU. It will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via microSD card.
The R1 will be equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It will be able to shoot Full HD 1080p videos. While the front has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and will support Dual SIM.
On the connectivity front, the ZUK R1 will support 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and microUSB 2.0. There is no information on the battery juice yet. As of now, we do not have any image, pricing and release date of the device, so we can take all these rumored specs as a pinch of salt.
Last month, ZUK has launched ZUK Z2 Pro in China, the handset with so many new features such as health sensors, OIS camera with 4K recording, U-Touch fingerprint scanner and much more. It features world’s first U-Touch 2.0 Fingerprint scanner to support a wet hand fingerprint to unlock the device. Z2 Pro can capture photos with “Heartbeat” calculation, World’s first camera can measure user’s heartbeat when clicking photos. The Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro has been priced at 2,699 Yuan – approximately $417 USD for 6GB RAM/128GB ROM model. As of now, no further information on international availability.
