ZTE Hawkeye Specifications, Price and More

ZTE is creating a smartphone called the “Hawkeye” with eye-tracking which is based on its Project CSX. ZTE Hawkeye was first teased At CES 2017 along with the Blade V8 Pro where we learned that the device with eye-tracking capabilities and a self-adhesive back. It also started its Kickstarter campaign to raise funding for building the phone. Coming to the ZTE Hawkeye price, it can be availed on Kickstarter for just $199. As per main main highlight of the device is its eye tracking technology for scrolling by recognizing movement of the eyes to scroll pages automatically up-down or left-right based on movement. Additionally, voice commands can be used to navigate between pages, and adhesive case to enable ability to stick the phone against most vertical surfaces.

Back to the ZTE Hawkeye specifications, it features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution. The handset is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor that’s backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB of RAM. On the camera front, according to the Kickstarter, it will sport a dual camera setup at the back – one sensor at 13-megapixel and the other at 12-megapixel with optical zoom. There is also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling.

On the software front, the ZTE Hawkeye will run Android Nougat out of the box, and pack a 3000mAh battery with quick charge 2.0 functionality. The device also sports a fingerprint sensor placed on the back panel and Hi-Fi Audio chip for superior sound quality.  ZTE Hawkeye Price

For connectivity includes Dual SIM 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 155 x 76.9 x 9.1mm and weights 185 grams. The shipment of the smartphone will be starting from September 2017.
