ZTE and Cricket Wireless have launched the Blade X Max phablet in the US market. The new ZTE Blade X Max smartphone will be available exclusively from Cricket Wireless online and offline stores starting today at $149 off-contract.
The single-SIM ZTE Blade X Max runs latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat and features a large 6-inch TFT LCD Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display along with Dragontrail Glass protection on top of it. The handset is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor that’s backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 (MSM8940) SoC and 2GB of RAM. The 32GB of inbuilt storage on the smartphone is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
The company has upgraded the camera on the new ZTE Blade X Max, as it sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with a LED flash and able to record 1080p video, while there is a 5-megapixel front camera also onboard. The smartphone packs in 3400mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 for fast charging; and is claimed to provide up to 17.7 hours of talk-time and standby time up to 241 hours. The handset also features Dolby Audio technology.
Connectivity options on the ZTE Blade X Max + include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C and 3.5 mm audio jack options. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the rear to unlock the device quickly. It measures 6.50 x 3.27 x 0.37 inches and weighs 6.93 oz.
