Zhiyun launches Crane-M2 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer for Compact cameras, Phones and Action cams

Zhiyun introduced a new Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer called Crane-M2. Thanks to its versatile design, the Zhiyun Crane-M2 gimbal stabilizer is compatible with a variety of devices: compact digital cameras, light mirrorless cameras, mobile phones, and action cameras. The ability to control the camera via WiFi and Bluetooth, new video modes, long battery life (up to 8hours) in combination with an intuitive OLED display menu make the Crane-M2 3-Axis Gimbal a revolutionary product on the market for compact cameras.

The special design of the stabilizer ensures compatibility with compact cameras, smartphones, and action cams up to 1.58 lb (an optional mounting accessory is required for attaching action cameras). Previously, operators had to use several stabilizers for different equipment, which increased costs, equipment weight and complexity of work. Now the Zhiyun Crane-M2 gimbal stabilizer is a universal solution for everyone.

The compact and ergonomic design of the Crane-M2 allows you to comfortably carry it with you and easy to prepare for shooting without losing the interesting moment. It features a quick-release camera mounting system that lets you secure or removes your camera at the push of one lock button. Scale marks and memory locks help you balance the camera and lock the balance position for the camera used.

The gimbal is easy to hold, controls are always at hand. An intuitive OLED-display allows you to control the operation modes, settings of the stabilizer and the battery level. In addition to the three standard modes (PF / F / L), Crane-M2 offers many other creative possibilities. It offers full-range POV mode, which allows for 360° synchronous movement on all three axes. Instead of leveling off during motion, the camera will remain locked in position no matter which way or how far you move the gimbal, allowing for true POV shots.

The Vortex mode gives you the freedom to perform cinematic 360° barrel shots in all dimensions and the Go mode performs fast pan and tilt motions for dramatic action shots. Simple and convenient camera zoom control allows you to shoot at a distance from the object. It is possible to control the camera via WiFi and Bluetooth using the button on the stabilizer knob.

The ZY Play application specially developed by ZHIYUN not only allows you to control the camera and stabilizer without wires but also opens additional modes: time-lapse, panoramic shooting, as well as slow motion. It packs a Lithium-ion battery provides continuous usage time up to 8hours. The stabilizer itself can charge cameras, smartphones and other devices, and it can also be charged from a portable charger or other power sources.
