Yu Yuphoria now runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with a new price tag of Rs. 6,499

Back in May 2015, Yu Smartphone announced the launch of the Yu Yuphoria in collaboration with Micromax mobiles. The Yu Yuphoria equipped Android Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12 custom ROM was listed for sale for a pricing of Rs 6,999. Now, the device gets price cut of Rs. 500 via Amazon India exclusively for a pricing of Rs 6,499 and it can be said that the Yu Yuphoria is now running only Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.Yu Yuphoria Price Cut

The Yu Yuphoria Mobile features a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels, pixel density of 294ppi, and 16M color and also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor, 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

The Micromax Yu Yuphoria bears an 8-megapixel primary camera with wide f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, autofocus and 5-megapixel wide angle fixed focus front-facing camera to capture wide selfie. While for inbuilt storage the device comes with a 16GB of internal memory which also support external microSD card slot up to 32GB.

The Micromax Yuphoria Amazon mobile sports Dual-SIM card slots with a 4G LTE connectivity, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box. It packs a 2230mAh battery with Quick Charge Technology that charge the phone from 0 to 50% in 45 minutes. For connectivity, includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB.

Recently, Amazon India also listed the Yu Yureka Plus smartphone runs only Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS which is also upgradable to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS with the huge price cut. And now the device is priced at Rs. 8,999.

The Yu Yureka Plus supports dual-SIM and features a a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full-HD 1080×1920 pixels, pixel density of 401ppi and also protected by the Corning gorilla glass 3. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-core processor, Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 chipset, Adreno 405 GPU and along with 2GB of RAM. It packs 16GB of inbuilt storage which can further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB.
