YouTube App Makes Return on Amazon Echo Show With Optimization

Back in September, Google has eliminated the YouTube access from the Amazon’s Echo Show due to alleged breaches terms of service, but after about two months, the YouTube app has been restored for the happiness of all users of the smart device.

YouTube app for Echo Show now looks much more optimized with a similar display layout to tablet screen size. In the previous version, less than three content was visible, while now it can show up to five videos in a single screen, inviting the user to take a full advantage of the touch screen display rather than voice commands.

In addition to YouTube app, the smart speaker is currently able to play videos from other sources outside from Amazon, such as Vimeo and Dailymotion, and a company representative confirmed that similar platforms will be supported in the future.

Amazon Echo Show can be managed through Alexa voice assistant and last week the device was officially announced in UK, where it can be purchased via Amazon.co.uk for £199.99 and if you buy a pair of Echo Show then you will get £100 discount on the second unit.
