Yamaha R-N803D Stereo Amplifier with MusicCast, WiFi, and Bluetooth

Yamaha has announced the R-N803D stereo amplifier. The new Hi-Fi system is fully compatible with the MusicCAST and can also be streamed to MusicCast devices in multiple rooms. The design of the Yamaha R-N803D Hi-Fi amplifier uses the philosophy that Yamaha identifies as “ToP-ART” (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology). Specifically, it speaks about the integrity of the audio by combining a meticulously symmetrical left and right circuit layout as well as signal directness with a low-vibration chassis of high rigidity.

There are also a large EI transformer and ESS SABRE 9006AS digital-to-analog converter (DAC), capable of supporting sampling frequencies up to 192 kHz / 24-bit. N803D is also provided with YPAO-R.S.C (Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer Reflected Sound Control), a technology which carries out an automatic calibration of the system, also automatically adjusts the sound to create the ideal response and sonic quality. MusicCast employs a high-performance wireless network to deliver music and audio enjoyment. It can stream digital music content from your smartphone, PC or NAS to other MusicCast devices in your home. It can also share the music from external devices such as a CD player or TV connected to the R-N803D.

The Stereo Amplifier is capable of drive maximum power of 160W x 2 (4 ohms, 1kHz, 0.7% THD). The connectivity includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (AAC / SBC). Therefore, you may play songs via the local network via DLNA 1.5 and is secured to the AirPlay support. Supported formats include MP3, WMA, MPEG4, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC and DSD. There are also plenty of streaming services: the Yamaha amplifier can connect directly to Spotify, Tidal, Deezer and Napster. Do not miss the radio tuner, here we have DAB and DAB+ tuner. As regards the connections include a phono input, four inputs and two analog outputs on RCA, two optical and two coaxial inputs, output to connect a subwoofer, a front USB port and an Ethernet port.

Yamaha R-N803D price is expected to around EUR 799 and will be scheduled for August of this year.
