Along with the Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi also announced the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India. It is also mid-range handset in the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series, and comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ waterdrop notch display, Snapdragon 675 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM, Dual Rear Cameras with a 48MP sensor, fingerprint sensor, and running Android Pie with MIUI 10 out of the box.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro price in India starts from Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version, and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart.com and goes on sale in India March 13, 2019. The handset comes in Neptune Blue, Nebula Red and Space Black color options.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro features a 6.3-inch 2.5D curved glass LTPS waterdrop notch in-cell display with Full HD+ (2340 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 84% NTSC Color Gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and 1.95mm narrow bezels. The device has a glass back panel with a gradient design, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, features P2i nano coating making it splash proof.

It is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform with Adreno 612 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

On the camera front, the Redmi Note 7 Pro bears a dual rear camera setup; a 48-megapixel rear camera with 1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor, an f/1.79 aperture, 6P lens, PDAF, EIS, offers 12MP output by default using super pixel tech, but you can enable 48MP output in Pro mode. Along with the 5-megapixel secondary camera with portrait shots and AI features such as steady handheld night photography. For selfie, there is a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with AI beautify and AI portrait features as well as AI face unlock.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel and the handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on MIUI 10 out of the box. It packs a 4000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 for 18W fast charging, but you have to get the fast charger separately since it comes with 10W charger. It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5, and USB C. The device measures 159.21 x 75.21 x 8.1mm and weighs 186 grams.
