After the launch of the Redmi Note 4X smartphone, Xiaomi is now preparing for new Redmi Note series device and it has been leaked on the Tenaa site. The smartphone has passed through the Chinese certification site and it could be the Redmi Note 5A smartphone.
Tenaa listing provides a glimpse at the Redmi Note 5A smartphone design and key specifications. The device is seen sporting a metal build with rounded edges, and the camera is placed on the top edge with the flash sitting beside it. Capacitive navigation buttons sit below the display in the front, while volume and power buttons sit on the right edge.

After the leak of the Redmi Note 5, Xiaomi now seems to be working on another variant of the same series, the Redmi Note 5A. According to a new leak, the specifications of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A have cropped up on the web hinting that it might be a mid-range smartphone.
Besides, the leak also tips that the Redmi Note 5A will come preloaded with company’s upcoming mobile software MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat and will be priced starting CNY – 999 $150 for the base variant.
As per a leaked news, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A is pegged to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, which is the downgrade from the Snapdragon 660 / 630 was leaked for Redmi Note 5 last month. The smartphone will allegedly come with 2GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage.

It is also expected to pack a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) display, and will have a 3080mAh battery capacity compared to Redmi Note 5’s 3790mAh juice. As of now, this is the only information available, but for more information on the flyer soon.
