Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Starts Receiving MIUI 9.5.1 Global Stable Update

Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 9.5 updates to Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 3S smartphones.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has received an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow via MIUI 9.5.1 Global Stable ROM. The new MIUI version is rolling out as an over-the-air (OTA) release and is also available as a downloadable package.

The rollout of the MIUI 9.5 Global Stable ROM for the compatible Xiaomi devices was announced on the MIUI Official Forum. You can check the availability of the MIUI 9.5.1 update on your Note 3 by going to Settings > About Phone > System updates or by using the Updater app. It is recommended to back up your data before beginning the update process. Alternatively, you can manually download the update either via flashing using the Fastboot Method or Recovery ROM method, however, these methods erase all data on the phone.
