The company does not distort the philosophy of the series, offering the handset with decent technical specs at a very aggressive price. It is a budget handset comes with a 5.45-inch 18:9 display, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear and 5MP cameras with AI Portrait mode, AI beautify.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6A price in India starts from Rs. 5,999 for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version, while the 32GB storage version costs Rs. 6,,999. It will be available exclusively from Amazon.in from September 19, 2018. The handset comes in Grey, Blue, Gold, and Rose Gold color options.
Xiaomi Redmi 6A Specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi 6A features a 5.45-inch 2.5D curved glass display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, and 1000:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by a 2GHz quad-core processor which supported by MediaTek Helio A22 12nm Mobile Platform with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU and comes with 2GB RAM with 16GB / 32GB of storage, which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Redmi 6A flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, EIS and LED Flash. It packs a 5-megapixel front camera, with f/2.2 aperture, AI Portrait mode and HDR. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor but has face unlock.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6A has dedicated dual SIM slots and also has Dual 4G VoLTE, which lets you keep two 4G or 4G VoLTE SIM cards active in your phone. The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on MIUI 9 out of the box and packs a 3000mAh battery. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB 2.0. The device measures 147.5×71.5×8.3mm and weigh 145 grams.
