Xiaomi Redmi 4X has been officially launched in China today on Tuesday. It is also one of the latest budget smartphone with the Fingerprint sensor and all-metal body from the Xiaomi being launched today. The handset is available in Cherry Pink, Champagne Gold, and Matte Black color variants and Xiaomi Redmi 4X price in China is set to 699 CNY – approximately $101 / INR 6790 for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version, while the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage versions costs 899 CNY – approximately $130 / INR 8730. An availability detail has not revealed by the company yet.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4X features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display 2.5D curved glass and HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution with 450nit brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 72 percent NTSC color gamut. The device has all metal uni-body and the company says that the new xiaomi redmi phone has received a design upgrade.
It is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 435 chipset paired with Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB / 3GB of RAM. It packs a 16GB / 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
The Redmi 4X flaunts a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF and LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and wide-angle lens to capture self portraits and quality video calling. The Redmi 4X comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel to unlock the device quickly.
The handset runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow -based on MIUI 8, a 4100mAh battery and Infrared sensor out of the box. Similar to other Redmi smartphones, the Redmi 4X also comes with hybrid dual-SIM which will mean that consumers will need to choose between using two SIM cards or a microSD card along with a SIM. For connectivity includes, 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 139.2 x 69.6 x 8.6mm, and weighs 150 grams.
