Xiaomi has announced the launch of a new Redmi 4A smartphone in India this month, and now Amazon India made available the Xiaomi Redmi 4A buy online through its Amazon Great Indian Sale starting from today. The Xiaomi Redmi 4A price in India is set to Rs. 5,999, it is the most affordable smartphone in the Redmi 4 series, and will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Gray color options.
Amazon India now accepts the registrations for notifications about any updates on Redmi 4A and sale will begin from 3PM today and the store has limited availability of the Redmi 4A only to Amazon Prime subscribers. The Redmi 4A was launched in China back in November last year, and now scarcely available Xiaomi Redmi 4A buy online due to limited stocks.
To recall the budget segment device specs, it features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution that can translate a pixel density of 294ppi, 1000:1 contrast ratio, a screen-to-body ratio of 70.2% and 72% NTSC color gamut. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core 64-bit processor that’s backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 (MSM8917) SoC clubbed with Adreno 308 500MHz GPU. It packs in 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For the camera, it comes with a 13-megapixel primary sensor has a f/2.2 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), dual-tone LED flash, and also able to record Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps. For selfie, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture to capture wide selfies and video chatting. The front can also shoot 1080p Full HD videos. It comes with an Infrared sensor, but the fingerprint sensor is missing.
The device runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and packs in 3120mAh battery which company claimed to provide standby time up to 7 days. It supports Hybrid dual SIM and sports 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0 with OTG, and 3.5 mm audio jack. It measures 139.5 x 70.4 x 8.5 mm, and weighs 131.5 grams.
