Xiaomi Redmi 3S with Snapdragon 430 SoC and 3GB RAM Launched

Xiaomi Redmi 3S has been officially launched in China, it is one of the latest budget smartphone with the Fingerprint sensor and huge 4100mAh battery from the Xiaomi being launched today. It is said to be another variant of the Xiaomi Redmi 3 was launched early this year in China. Xiaomi Redmi 3S price in China is set to 666 Yuan – approximately $106 USD for 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 899 Yuan – approximately $136 for 3GB RAM/32GB ROM model. It is available in Silver, Gold and Grey color variants. It will go on sale from June 16th via MI Phone China store.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S features a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution with 16M colors for natural picture quality. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit octa-core processor clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and a 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.

On the camera front, the Redmi 3S flaunts a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF – Phase Detection Auto Focus, LED flash and it can shoot full HD 1080p videos at 30 fps. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and wide-angle lens to capture self portraits and video calling. Front camera also records 1080p videos. The device comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear panel to unlock the device quickly.
This Xiaomi Phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based on MIUI 7 out of the box. It packs a 4100mAh battery that is claimed to deliver standby time up to 450 hours and talk time of up to 33 hours. It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity, MI Mobile Phone includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measure 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm and weighs around 144 grams.
