Along with the Mi9, Xiaomi also announced the Mi9 SE which is a successor of the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. The Xiaomi Mi9 SE comes with a 5.97-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 712, 6GB of RAM, Triple Rear cameras, fifth-gen in-display fingerprint sensor, and Android 9.0 Pie.

The Xiaomi Mi9 SE price in China starts from CNY 1,999 – approximately $297 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs CNY 2,299 – approximately $341. It will go on sale in China from March 1, 2019. The device comes in Blue, Violet and Dark great color options.

The Xiaomi Mi9 SE features a 5.97-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 103.8% NTSC color gamut, 600 nits brightness, 60000:1 contrast ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 90.4% screen-to-body ratio. The device comes with a gradient holographic rainbow spectrum surface on the back.

It packs a 3070mAh battery and has support for 18W fast charging, but it doesn’t have wireless charging that is present in the Mi9. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO), GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5, and USB C. The device measures 147.5×70.5×7.45mm and weighs 155 grams.
