Wise Advanced introduced its CFexpress Wise CFX (Type B) memory cards for digital cameras that allow you to record 8K video in RAW and are designed for high-end SLR and mirrorless cameras. Thanks to the PCIe Gen3 interface, the card provides read speeds of up to 1700 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1550 MB/s, which is more than 3 times faster than the best CFast 2.0 and XQD cards.
The cards are compatible with the XQD form factor, but Wise Advanced officially announces support for its new cards with Nikon Z 6 and Z 7 cameras, and the Panasonic camera owner warns that the cards will not work with Panasonic S1 or S1R in video recording mode.
Wise Advanced CFexpress cards are waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and can be used at temperatures from -10 to +70° C. It will be sold with capacities of 128, 256 and 512GB.
Along with the cards, the high-speed CFexpress memory cards for digital cameras, Wise Advanced also introduced the CFexpress USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C card reader. It uses the USB 3.1 standard with data transfer speeds of 10 GB/s and has an aluminum case.
