There is a very short time now in the presentation of Apple’s new devices, but the names of incoming devices are increasing. Now Mark Gurman of Bloomberg intervened, citing the sources, very well predicted that:
- iPhone XS – the direct successor of iPhone X of 2017, 5.8-inch OLED display
- iPhone XS Max – OLED version with a 6.5-inch display
- iPhone Xr – an entry-level model with a 6.1-inch LCD display
Although many expect a price between $699 and $749, Goldman Sachs believes that, given the summer sales of iPhone X higher than expected, iPhone Xr will cost around $849. The iPhone 8 family prices will remain between $699 and $799, depending on the size of the display.
At this point, it is really difficult to establish who is right. In exactly two days we will know more. Another news emerges from China (precisely from the social network Weibo) some new and interesting rumors about names and prices of the three different variations of Apple smartphones, will be unveiled on the stage of the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park.
As shown by China Mobile, the three iPhone 2018 will include “iPhone XC”, “iPhone XS” and “iPhone XS Plus” (no “iPhone Xs Max”?). The first name, in all probability, refers to the “lower price segment (single SIM) of the three smartphones that, as you will know, will feature a 6.1-inch IPS LCD display. The letter “C” used for the last time by Apple with the iPhone 5c, the budget iPhone with polycarbonate shell.
The remaining two variants, however, will be iPhone XS with 5.8-inch OLED display, the real successor of the current iPhone X – and iPhone XS Plus, featuring a 6.5-inch OLED display. Both should be available in Dual SIM variant.
Finally, from the same source, the presumed selling prices of the three new iPhones have emerged, which, however, should include sales taxes imposed by China.
- iPhone XC – CNY 5888 – approximately $857
- iPhone XS – CNY 7388 – approximately $1076
- iPhone XS Plus – CNY 8388 – approximately $1221
China Telecom, instead, has created the teaser that we propose to follow. ” You’re late, I’ve been waiting” is the title that underlines the 4G speed for both SIM that can be installed on the iPhone.
