In early March at CP+ 2019 event in Yokohama, Voigtlander introduced Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Aspherical lens for Sony E and full-frame mirrorless cameras and now they announced that they will distribute this lens for $1099 from June this year.
According to the manufacturer, the Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Aspherical lens comes with the built-in electronic contact for Sony E mount, the use condition of the lens is reflected in the Exif information of the shooting data. The built-in distance encoder supports 5-axis camera shake correction on the camera body side. You can also zoom in on the finder by operating the focus ring. The aperture works smoothly, without jumping step by step, it is an advantage for filming without noise.
Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Aspherical lens has an optical structure of 13 elements in 11 groups, of which Three Partial Dispersion Elements and Two Aspherical Elements of the optical system to reduce aberration, limit image distortion, give images sharp and true color. The lens comes with the largest aperture range from f/1.4 to f/16. The closest focusing distance of this lens is 25cm. The body of the lens is made of metal so the weight is up to 560g with a diameter and the length measured 70.5mm x 79.5mm. In addition, the lens can use a filter with a diameter of 62mm.
