Vkworld V5 Rugged Smartphone with 5500mAh Battery and LTE Launching Soon

Vkworld is about to launch new Rugged Smartphone device – the Vkworld V5 with 5500mAh battery that also supports Pump Express quick charging.
The Android-powered Vkworld V5 will be LTE enabled model available in this month at an estimated price tag of $89.99 The company says that the new Vkworld Rugged Smartphone will be available via various online retailers and authorised Vkworld store. Notably, the Vkworld is touting its new Rugged device as handheld smartphone but we classify voice-calling device with a 5-inch display.

For Vkworld V5 specifications, the handset feature 5.0-inch IPS display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution; Ultra-strong tempered glass layer on top of it and powered by MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor with 2GB RAM. It packs 16GB inbuilt storage and also support expandable storage via microSD card (unspecified storage).
The V5 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop; support dual-SIM functionality apart from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity. The devices sport a 13-megapixel primary with LED flash as well as 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The company says that the new V5 feature a drop rating of 2.0 meters and come with IP68 certification requirements which means can withstand in up to 1.5 meters of water for 2 hours. It come with a huge 5500mAh battery along with MediaTek Pump Express Plus fast charging technology up to 12V and beyond; takes about 100 minutes to charge from 1% to 100%; from 1% to 75% takes only about 30 minutes.
