Vkworld T5 and T5 SE Budget Smartphones Launched at only $59.99

Two new Vkworld smartphones, the Vkworld T5 and T5 SE, have been officially announced by the company. Both the Vkworld smartphones run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and come with dual-SIM support. The Vkworld T5 and Vkworld T5 SE come with a lot of identical innards, even though there are also some differences. However, the price of both devices is same only $59.99 USD and can be pre-ordered via GearBest online store.

Both Vkworld smartphones feature a 5.0-inch IPS displays with HD 720 x 1280 pixels resolution that offers a pixel density of 296ppi and screen-to-body ratio up to 75 percent and there is also 2.5D Curved Corning Glass protection on top of it.

Both are powered by MediaTek quad-core processors. The Vkworld T5 however packs a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6580 chipset paired with Mali-400 MP GPU; 2GB of RAM and packs in 16GB of internal storage while the Vkworld T5 SE includes a 1.0 GHz MediaTek MT6735 chipset clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU; 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage. On the camera front, the Vkworld T5 and T5 SE sports an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera is accompanied by dual LED flash. Both feature 4-inch displays with a screen resolution of 480×800 pixels. Both the handset also features a Smart Wake function, so you can draw any kind of pattern on the turned-off screen to open certain applications.

The Vkworld T5 and T5 SE both pack 2000mAh removable batteries, that can easily provide one day juice to your handset with moderate usage. Both handset share same Ergonomic design and made of solid yet soft plastic material with brushed line pattern on the back cover that also gives you a better grip. Both measuring 145 x 71.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs 161 grams.

The smartphones also differ in network functionality with the Vkworld T5 is only sports 3G network, while the T5 SE support 4G LTE with Dual SIM and dual standby. Other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack options.
