Vivo Y53 with 2GB RAM, SD425 launching Soon

The Vivo is about to welcome a new smartphone in its Y series for Indian market. It is Vivo Y53, entry-level 4G VoLTE smartphone for customers who want to be connected to the high-speed network and access the all new features when they have a low budget. 

Vivo Y53 price in India is set to Rs. 9,990 – approximately $150, and will be available soon in Crown Gold and Space Grey color options. As of now there is no information about international launching of this Vivo smartphone.

Vivo Y53 Specifications

The Vivo Y53 features a 5.0-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD IPS LCD display with a unique eye protection mode that ensures comfortable screen brightness by reducing blue light that causes strain on the eyes. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor that’s fueled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset along with Adreno 308 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Funtouch OS 3.0 custom skin on top of it. The body of the device is made up of metal and the device also comes with a built-in split-screen mode for better multitasking. 

The Y53 houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and which is capable of shooting HD (720p) videos. On the front, it comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and wide-angle lens for your selfies and video calling. It has Dual SIM support and packs 2500mAh battery under the hood.

On the connectivity front, the Y53 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and 3.5mm audio jack The device measuring 144.2 x 71.4 x 7.64 mm, and weighs 137 grams.

Earlier this month, Vivo has announced the Y25 budget smartphone in Malaysia, priced at $112. Vivo Y25 features a 4.5-inch display; a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor; 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM; 2MP front and 5MP rear camera with LED flash.
