Vivo Y12 With 6.35-inch HD+ Display, Triple Rear Camera, 5000mAh battery Launched

Vivo Y12 has been officially launched in India, it is mid-budget device comes with a 6.35-inch waterdrop notch display, 4GB RAM, Triple Rear Cameras, a 5,000mAh battery, and fingerprint sensor.

Vivo Y12 Price in India and Availability

The Vivo Y12 price in India has been set at Rs. 12,490 – approximately $180 for the sole 4GB RAM with 32GB storage version. The device is available for purchase starting today through major offline stores in the country. The phone comes in Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red color options.

Vivo Y12 Specifications

The Vivo Y12 features a 6.35-inch Waterdrop notch display with HD+ (1544 × 720 pixels) resolution, and 19.3:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762)processor with a dedicated Ultra Game Mode. It packs a 4GB of RAM and a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card.

On the camera front, the Y12 bears a triple rear camera setup: a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with AI Face Beauty feature to provide “tailor-made” facial enhancements, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor along with an LED flash. The camera supports a list of features, including Time-Lapse, Live Photos, HDR, Portrait Mode, Panorama, and Super Wide-Angle Camera among others. There is also PDAF support. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with Face Unlock, Portrait Bokeh and AI Face Beauty.

The Vivo Y12 has a fingerprint sensor on the back side and handset runs on Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 out of the box. It packs a 5000mAh battery along with power-saving technologies to deliver an extended usage on a single charge. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5. The device measures 159.43×76.77×8.92mm and weigh 190.5 grams.
