Vivo has announced the X21 Android smartphone will be available in two different variants, one with the under-display fingerprint sensor and second with the traditional rear fingerprint sensor. Both variants of the Vivo X21 feature Notch design Super AMOLED display and Dual rear camera sensors.
Vivo X21 Price and Availability
The Vivo X21 price in China is CNY 2,898 – approximately $457 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, CNY 3,198 – approximately $505 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model and under-display fingerprint sensor model with 6GB RAM with 128GB storage costs CNY 3,598 – approximately $568. The standard model will be available from March 24th and the under-display fingerprint sensor version will be available from March 28th. Both devices comes in Black, Aurora White, and Ruby Red color options.
Vivo X21 Specifications
The Vivo X21 features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) OLED Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9, 90.3% screen-to-body ratio, 1.66mm narrow bezels on the sides, 1.79mm bezels on the top and 5mm on the bottom. Both variants have a 3D glass body and powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 660 14nm chipset coupled with Adreno 512 GPU.
On the camera front, the X21 flaunts dual rear cameras with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with Samsung 2L9 sensor, a f/1.8 aperture with Dual Pixel technology along with a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera with a f/2.4 aperture to capture the depth information. It has AI scene recognition that can automatically detect 17 scenes and the 12-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and has AI beauty recognition for a perfect selfie and can output 24-megapixel resolution images.
The handset packs 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of storage. It comes in standard and in-display fingerprint sensor version. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.0 with A.I features powered by dedicated Qualcomm AIE Artificial Intelligence Chip. It packs a 3200mAh battery with fast charging support.
It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C options. Vivo X21 measures 154.45 x 74.78 x 7.37mm and weighs 156.2 grams.
