After launching in Thailand, the Vivo V9 has been officially launched in India. The device has been officially listed on its Amazon India online store with price and availability details. The V9 also comes with an iPhone X-like notch as well as sports AI (artificial intelligence) selfie features.

The Vivo V9 price in India is Rs. 22,990 and it will be available for pre-order from today from Amazon.in online store and goes on sale from April 2nd. The device comes in Pearl Black, Champagne Gold and Sapphire Blue color options.

The Vivo V9 features a 6.3-inch in-cell IPS display with Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution, and 19:9 aspect ratio. It has a sleek metal unibody design and it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. It packs a 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
For optics, Vivo V9 bears a vertically-positioned dual rear camera setup with 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel image sensors. The rear camera is touted to use f/2.0 aperture and AI techniques to uplift images. Also, there is an HDR mode to give vivid results. The front of the smartphone, on the other hand, has a 24-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture that supports a Portrait mode alongside offering AR Stickers and Face Beauty – specifically for selfies.
The handset includes a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and comes preloaded with AR Stickers, Face Unlock, and Face Beauty Mode. The handset also has a Karaoke Mode to enhance your music playback experience. Further, it smartly eliminates background noise from incoming calls and messages when you’re playing a game.
The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Funtouch OS 4.0 out of the box.
