ViewSonic has launched three new gaming monitors and two entertainment monitors at CES 2018 in Las Vegas. All these new products designed for gaming, so we are obviously talking about the latest generation gaming monitors that aim to satisfy the needs of a wide range of users.
The manufacturer introduced the ViewSonic XG2560, XG3220 and XG3540C gaming monitors, in addition to the ViewSonic VX2758-C-MH and VX3258-2KC monitors, intended for multimedia entertainment and, in general, for home use.
Let’s start with the ViewSonic XG2560, a 25-inch monitor that uses a TN panel with FHD resolution but offers a 1ms response time and 240Hz refresh rate. XG2560 also supports Nvidia G-Sync technology. The brightness is 400 cd/m2, the dynamic contrast reaches 120000000:1, while for the input we find HDMI, Display Port, and a USB 3.0 5-port hub.
If you are looking for a larger panel with a higher resolution, ViewSonic XG3220 is 32-inch display and XG3540C is a 34-inch model: the former has 4K resolution, HDR10, and AMD FreeSync support, the second is a 1440p curved display with refresh up to 100 Hz.
As for the ViewSonic VX2758-C-MH and VX3258-2KC-MHD monitors, they are both curved 144Hz displays with FreeSync: the first is a 1080p with a screen size 27-inches, while the second is equipped with a 32-inch panel with 2560x1440p resolution.
