VAIO is ready to introduce two new notebooks based on the Intel Kaby Lake R platform, we are talking about the VAIO S11 and S13, both share quite similar technical specifications and design. Taking a look at the product codes, it is easy to see that the two models differ in size and display: VAIO S11 uses an 11.6-inch FHD panel and weighs 870 grams, while VAIO 13 features a 13.3-inch FHD display with weighs 1.07kg. Both devices have a 17mm thickness.
As for the hardware, the Japanese company offers two options for the CPU: Core i7-8550U (4c / 8t from 1.8GHz) or Core i5-8250U (4c / 8t from 1.6GHz), packed with 8GB / 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. With these configurations, VAIO S11 manages to offer 15 hours of usage time, while the VAIO S13 stops at up to 12 hours.
For connectivity and ports, the new VAIO laptops offer three USB 3.0 ports, SDXC, HDMI, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, 3G / LTE, WiFi AC and Bluetooth 4.1.
