After the huge success of the UMIDIGI One series, with the two smartphones providing great specs at affordable prices, the company is now adding a new phone to the lineup, the UMIDIGI One Max. The handset is an incremental upgrade of the UMIDIGI One Pro which was launched back in July this year. The pricing is consistent with UMIDIGI’s affordability rating as it is now up for presale for $179.99 on TomTop e-shop.
UMIDIGI One Max Specifications
The UMIDIGI One Max features a 6.3-inch 19:9 waterdrop notch display, driven by advanced in-cell technology and the display to be expanded to achieve a 91.5% screen ratio which is pretty impressive. It carries a glossy metal frame with 2.5 D glass on both sides of the phone. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 processor paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, which should bring a smooth gaming experience for heavy users. The device also packs a massive 128GB internal storage.
On the camera front, the One Max packs a dual camera set up at the rear which is a 12MP+5MP sensor. The main sensor is an OV12870 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a large 1/2.8″ optical format. The second camera is capable of capturing Bokeh photos. For selfie, it has a 16MP front-facing camera. Furthermore, the One Max features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on top of the power button.
Further, in order to withstand your daily usage, UMIDIGI has added a 4150 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Even though, you can wirelessly charge it with 15W wireless charging and NFC. The device gets its interface from stock Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
