UMIDIGI C Note 2: First Smartphone with UMI OS Announced

The UMIDIGI company has introduced a new mid-range smartphone called C Note 2, and the first device to runs on proprietary firmware – UMI OS, based on Android 7.0 Nougat and also upgradeable to the Android 8.0. Advantages of the new UMI OS: a unique user interface, advanced features and smooth and fast system processing speed comparable to a pure Android version. The UMIDIGI C Note 2 smartphone itself is also not less interesting. It is necessary to the presence of a fingerprint sensor, dual SIM slots with support for 4G LTE and a massive 4000mAh battery capacity.

UMIDIGI C Note 2 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It provides a sufficient level of performance for everyday tasks, but at the same time does not consume much energy, which positively affects the battery life. It packs 4GB of RAM allows you to run multiple applications at the same time in the background, and switch between them easily. Storage is 64GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 256GB using microSD card.

The front of the device with a 5.5-inch Sharp IGZO display with Full HD resolution and high levels of brightness, contrast, and color fidelity. Under the screen is a Front Touch ID 2.1 fingerprint scanner. The entire front panel is also covered by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

For optics, the device flaunts a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with Samsung S5K3L8 sensor and 5P lens. For selfie and video calls, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with Samsung GC5005 sensor.
