UMi London with DG Twin-Shield Technology and Android 6.0 Announced

UMi Cell Phones are known for its budget prices and durability, now UMi Digi comes with all new UMi London smartphone has been officially launched yesterday, it is latest affordable smartphone from the company that comes with aluminum alloy uni-body along with all new DG Twin-Shield Technology that makes it more durable and tough. The UMi London features a 5.0-inch IPS display from Sharp with Dual T2X-1 Glass technology and HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution that can translate a pixel density of 294ppi. The device has a soft edge Aluminum alloy frame design and its using Nano technology that promises toughness and lightness of the device when carried. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor which supported by 64-bit MediaTek MT6580 chipset paired with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It packs an 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.

On the camera front, the UMi smartphone flaunts an 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with Sony IMX149 sensor, LED flash and can record HD 720p videos at 30fps. It has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with GC2365 image sensor to capture stunning self portraits and quality video calling.

The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and packs in Sony 2050mAh battery under the hood is claimed to deliver up to 28 hours of talk-time, up to 9 hours of web browsing, 11 hours of video playback and 42 hours music playback time.

On the connectivity front, the device supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options.

Last month, UMi Mobiles announced UMi Super smartphone with 4GB RAM, Helio P10 octa-core processor, 3D fingerprint sensor and its all time USP aluminum alloy uni-body. It has a 4000mAh battery and a 5.5 inch display with 2.5D arc glass and 4th generation 3D fingerprint sensor, which takes about 10 seconds to register and the speed as soon as 0.1 second.
